Taipei, Taiwan Trip Day 2 (Part One)

Read the previous Taiwan Trip post here:  ( Day 1 )

Had hotel's buffet breakfast. Although it's BUFFET but i realised i ate cereal for breakfast the entire trip. Wasted right?! But for my favourite choco-puff and fruit loops, it's worth it!

It's was about 10:30am when we reach 國立中正紀念堂  Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall. Heard that it was built in memory of Taiwan's first president.

The wind was very strong that morning. You'll need skill to keep you hair intact for nice photos. Think after this trip, East Coast Park's wind is no kick to me anymore!

See what i mean? (okay lah this was a candid shot)

Their 摩斯漢堡 MOS Burger!

National Theater and National Concert Hall

Puny!!!

As though we've not seen a phone booth before.. No lah! We're just shielding ourselves from the wind! HAHA!

At almost 11am, we headed to 臺北忠烈祠 Martyr’s Shrine for the change of guard ceremony. I have the video clip somewhere in the memory card but i need some time to dig it out. For the time being, look at the photos okay?

The most incredible thing is the guards on duty stands like statue. Totally not moving at all! Serious only. But the tourist was like "eh choose one handsome one for photo leh.." LMAO!

Random shot on the street. Mr Postman!

You think that is all for day time? You're WRONG! They will not let you off without spending! HAHA! Next stop, 維格餅家 Vigor Kobo Taiwan for pineapple tarts! Why don't they just bring us to the factory 梨酥夢工場?!!!

Their cute mascot, 旺來國王 and 蛋黃酥皇后 (King Wang and Queen yolk cakes ) In total they have 13 adorable mascot namely, greenbean prince, taro princess, gaolak cook, honey cowboy and more..

The entire shop flooded with our people! How to not buy when they keep asking you to try all those delicious samples!

So i got the original 鳳梨酥 Pineapple mini-cake牛軋糖 Nougat and 原味鱈魚海苔脆片Codfish pastry with seaweed.

After these we had lunch and up the mountains we go to the old streets! Which i will keep it for Part 2. :D will blog soon. Now.... i gotta go dig out the video clip to show you peeps how the guards march! BYE!
