Small eating place located at the corner of Heartland Mall which we always wanted to try. So had dessert with Vin and Jean one fine Saturday noon. Guess will head back to try their bacon breakfast set as the photo looks mouth-watering.
Jean brought TinTin along after the hamster race haha!
1st July. Heavy rain but it did not dampen our mood to try Chicken Hot Pot which was along Upper Serangoon. Even with an umbrella each, we are wet. Took the outside seats as we agreed that was more cooling.
Didnt know what they have, we asked for recommendations and ended up with a big claypot of chicken in dark sauce soup. Had glass noodle and deep fried toufu skin.
It tasted really good at first but after the 5th serving of glass noodle and toufu skin, i got sick of the taste and stopped eating. Guess i still prefer something light like erm, herbal chicken soup for these kinda buffet/steamboat.
But well, i will still head back to try out the other soup base..
