Taipei, Taiwan Trip Day 3 (Part Two)

Read the previous Taiwan Trip post here:  ( Day 1 / Day 2 - Part One / Two / Day 3 - Part One)

The post card to myself which i've posted out from Jiu Fen has finally arrived! I will show you peeps soon!

Upon reaching Yehliu, the dark clouds which were approaching us looked kinda intimidating. There was no wind but the waves were strong.

野柳地质公园 Yehliu Geopark here we are! The scenery was magnificent i like it there a lot.

The icon of Yehliu Geopark is the 4,000 years old Queen's head mushroom rock. You need to queue to take a picture with or of this particular rock. The queue is as long as those of KOI bubble tea! Not Kidding!

To skip the queue we zoomed in with NX210 from a distance BUT from a wrong direction therefore it does not look like it. We also took a photo of the Cute princess's not cute head (which no one bothers about) i guess it's an artifact.

My two favourite photos from this album. Photographer: Davin

After the park, we headed to their market to buy some local products. Vin was afraid of this dog. Though it does not bark but he is very excited to see Vin. Keep wagging his tail and following Vin around and he gave off that look like he's gonna pounce unto Vin for a hug anytime. HAHA!

We had a delicious seafood dinner near the geopark, did some shopping at 7-11 ('cause our hotel is quite far away from the shops) and checked into  Hotel Ocean Vista & Spa

Ours was the 雅致套房 ( 專屬水世界 ). Each and every individual rooms looked different but very huge. So if you're alone, you will definitely feel eerie. There's Jacuzzi / steam room in each room as well. Luckily i brought my bikini with me! :P

I was hooked to the chocolate snack "Guai Guai" which you can only find in Taiwan. Yea and i bought masks from 7-11 as well.

I did a post of the masks here!

Night / evening view..

Day view..

The stay at this hotel was not too bad. Though they are located quite far away from the shops and their breakfast buffet is not to my liking and they do not serve cereals. For the good view and spacious room space, i do not mind going back again.

So fast, the Taiwan trip is coming to an end. After checking out of Hotel Ocean Vista, we headed for lunch at Five Dime before going to the airport.. Last post of my Taiwan trip next!

Taipei, Taiwan Trip Day 3 (Part One)

Read the previous Taiwan Trip post here:  ( Day 1 / Day 2 - Part One / Two)

We're changing hotel today! After our morning shower, we dumped everything into our luggage and checked out of the lovely City Suites at 8:30am then heading for our first stop at the PiXiu Arts Centre.

Not really a fan of FengShui but somehow everyone thinks that the fortune telling was rather accurate. As everyone was busy with the fortune telling session, Vin and i ventured into a shop selling nice meaty snacks. As i could not make up the name of the shop, i took a photo of the plastic bag to show you.

Up the mountains we go again! This time to 烏來 Wulai!

We passed by this river which color looks like Jade but they say it's barley! LMAO!

They have 全家便利商店 Family Mart located all over Taiwan and this was located on our way up to Wulai. I wonder who will apply job in this branch. People living in Wulai?

Had lunch in a restaurant facing the 烏來瀑布 Walai waterfall, which i think was the Wulai visitor information centre. Haha! Our tour bus!

After lunch went to 烏來老街 Wulai Old street for 溫泉蛋 hot spring boiled egg!!! Super yummy! I was munching on eggs while walking the street.

Not to be offensive but they say the police station looks like provision shop. :x

They were not willing to take photos, which i do not know why. So Vin and i posed for 烏來老街 Wulai Old street with some candid shots here and there.
Please ignore my puffy cheeks. I was eating hot spring boiled eggs as mentioned above. Haha!

Next post will be one of my favourite attraction after Wulai Old Street. We went to Yehliu Geopark to see mushroom rocks! So please stay with me for more pictures!
