Whose Line Is It Anyway?

Remembered watching this UK improvisational comedy TV show on Channel 5 years ago whenever i stay up late at night. I am not aware if it is still on but heard that it will be back on MioTV. Surprisingly, Vin won a pair of tickets to their live show last Thursday and he asked me along. The show was held at Klapson The Boutique Hotel which was just a 5 minutes walk from my office. Since we were early, i brought Vin to LaKopi, the coffee shop which i normally go with my colleagues, to have Thai food for dinner.

A small ballroom packed with a stage and many chairs. Everyone was sitting so closely together, accidentally brushing your arms against the stranger beside you was inevitable and somewhat awkward. But we warm up pretty fast. After a few laughs and by interval, we were laughing, clapping and cheering loudly for the 4 men.

The show lasted an hour and 50 minutes BUT it was GREAT! Their wittiness and jokes cracked me up so much that i felt my cheek muscles aching.

There were too many people, could not manage to take any proper photos. But anyway for those whom do not know what i was raving about up there, i have attached a youtube video of the US version at the end of this post.

Before i start this is a view i captured while working on a sunny morning.

I do hoped someone misses me for the past 40 days. Didn't mean to neglect this little space of mine. I promise to update more frequently okay.

Well currently i am working on a huge personal project. Basically it's a project to change ME because negative thoughts has been pulling me back from doing my best either at work or as an individual and I was really upset with my emotions and performance. 

Self reflection got me to realize that i have doubts in the things i do. My goals are not set, not clear thus every set back caused me to have negative thoughts which impacted on my actions. Since it is diagnosed, i want to do something about it. As my mentor always tell me, changes are painful, but changing a little at a time will lead you to something wonderful. I am willing to change.

My mindset has always been weak. My belief is not there. My laziness are always larking and sadly i gave in to it all the time. So what i have been doing recently is to separate my work with personal life. Weekdays strictly for work and weekends for family, rest and self reflection.

Mentor has been very helpful towards what i want to focus, change and improve. So we had a discussion and set a work routine to get my momentum back on track. Frankly speaking, every work day is torturing. I am doing things out of my comfort zone and from time to time, my weak mindset will ask me to give up. Luckily enough, i managed to chase off the evil thoughts and stick to what we have planned, although not very closely but i know someday i will be there. It is just the beginning. 

So everybody, please cheer me on okay?!

Some updates of myself as well. I decided to dye my hair creamy beige using Liese bubble hair color a week ago. Erm.. all i could say is color failed. HAHA! This is NOT the creamy beige i wanted. It's more of like bronze or someone said it's a shade of brown red? Guess i will have to stick to this till my next hair coloring session.

Coffee and food have always been a part of my life. I make it a point to drink coffee every single morning before i start my day. But what i will be posting are some random photos from the past 40 days.

I am a novice in photography. 

First photo journey with my NX1000. I've managed to pick a few self-satisfied photos out of the 38 shots. Please bear with my skills, I've registered myself for the NX camera workshop next week. Haha.

I've edit the sleepy long-hair's photo as the flooring looks a bit dirty, otherwise all are original photos.

A ticked tabby which i named her Ambush because she's so attracted to my perfume, she will run after me every morning when i walk pass the void deck and a super affectionate teenage mackerel tabby.

How i wish i can bring one home.

Well, i was invited for Domino's Pizza Party the other day. It was my virgin visit to Domino's (Kovan Branch) despite it being walk-able distance from where i stay. The people there was nice and the food is great, i was so glad that i went. Alright enough of my words. Picture time!

As i was saying, Domino's Kovan branch is located at a walk-able distance from Kovan MRT (NEL), along Upper Serangoon Road. Yes! The same stretch where you can find the Punggol Nasi Lemak.

Long awaited FOOD! Because this was taken more than a week ago, I will try my best to name the pizzas and their toppings okay?

Meatasaurs (Class Pizza range)
Topped with beef pepperoni, ground beef, mushrooms, and Domino's new blended smoky BBQ sauce

Diavola Beef (Mediterranean range)

Topped with ground beef, red capsicum, onion, red pepper flakes and oregano on Napolitana sauce

This was one of the popular pizza among us, Portofino Prawn (Mediterranean range)

They have cherry tomatoes, prawns, feat cheese, Belgian spinach, onions and Napolitana sauce

I think this was the Hawaiian Paradise (Specialty Pizza range)

It's super cheesy with 100% mozzarella cheese, smoked chicken breast, chicken ham and pineapples!

Basilico Chicken (Mediterranean range)

Well i did not get to try this but heard from the girls around me, they said this was good!

A mix of roasted chicken, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, onions and Pesto Passion sauce.

Last on the list but not least, MY PERSONAL FAVOURITE!!!

Classified Chicken (Specialty Pizza range)

Pizza is covered with smoked chicken breast, onions and mushrooms with Domino's TOP SECRET SAUCE!! Totally YUMS!
