Hi.
I survived today. It was raining the entire day. It was cold and wet. I'm not a fan. I didn't like my feet in soaking wet shoes or the ends of my hair decided that they should do a rain dance, going all frizzy on me. But, guess this was the closest i get to experience winter. The dense rain drops does look like snow sometimes.
Today shouldn't be an official working day either. Made an effort to be productive at work, but i cannot remember what i did today. Office was exceptionally quiet and i went for lunch at a yong tau fu stall where the artificially-dyed-red sweet sauce made it look like i am eating some bloody mushrooms. After which i enjoyed a cup of bubble tea, then froze my ass off in the office till i decided it's time to go home.
Times like this made me moody. Feelings especially heightened when things aren't going too well in life at the moment. I am proud of myself for being strong, really. Just sometimes i would rather think that crying out will make everything alright. Ha. I have underestimated life.
My minds' kinda messed up right now and i have no idea how i am going to relate my problems here but i will save your straining eyes, and from getting brain-fried, by ending this post right now. Yea, like this moment.
Hope your Friday wasn't as bad as mine.
Happy Boxing Day anyway. Opened your presents yet?

100 Doraemon Secret Gadget Expo
Hello!
It's finally the long awaited school term break!
Exactly three weeks for me to enjoy Christmas and also New Year. Work is slowing down due to year end and many had gone on long year end leave. Holiday mood almost everyday!
Anyway, post title says it all. Went Johor Malaysia for the Doraemon Expo with my family during end November as we won five complimentary tickets. This was an overdue post as i was having exams at that very same period.
The expo exhibits 100 Doraemon with his gadgets, the history and also some other interest facts of the machine cat and his friends. From time-machine on, the rest are covered and cannot be seen from outside. Many different photo taking spots and witness the wedding of Nobita and Shizuka. There's also live show every one to two hourly. Don't wanna be a spoiler so shall not post too much of what is in the exhibition so that you will still have the WOW factor when you visit.
We had a very good time. Picture time!

TIME.
"The best thing you can give to someone is your time,
because you're giving them something you can never get back."
I bought myself a pair of Solvil Et Titus watch from the 天长地久 series a month back after a pay rise. A very classic timepiece which i have always wanted. This photo does not do much justice as the colors could not be seen exactly. The frame is rose-gold and strap is in dark reddish brown, not black.
Watches to me is more than just accessories. I'm a time-keeper by nature. I always try to be early, if not, on-the-dot, for everything. Friends always say that i'm very gan-cheong (nervous/uptight). Watches also help me to calculate time. Calculating time always gives me ample time to things that are needed to be done on time. But there will always be something / someone which i will leave out eventually, thinking there is always tomorrow...
24 hours a day. I spend 6 hours sleeping, almost 10 hours at work, 3 hours in school, at least 3 hours on train / bus. I am only left with 2 hours of personal time before the clock indicate the next day.
Now that i have break-down the so called, one day, don't you think that 24 hours is not enough?
Treasure your time, as every second, minute and hour counts. Once it's gone, it will never come back. (reminder to myself too)

HAPPY MAY DAY!!!
Did you had a good rest?
It was a battle between me and Business Law paper the past 3 weeks. Finally the paper was over! Sorry for my super lack of updates anyway wanna share with you what i have been liking the past 2 months and why i am always looking forward to Wednesdays and Fridays!
Legendary Prawn Mee!
It's located at far east level 4 erm(?) It's on every Wednesday's menu. Have to be very early to have this for lunch if not prepare to queue. Sometimes it will be OUT OF STOCK!
Do not be mislead by the amount of noodles. I am not used to having heavy lunches so normally i will ask for less noodles. You can change it to kway teow or beehoon.
There's onions added to the broth to have more fragrance. Best of all, it's considered one of the cheapest food we can find along Orchard. It's only $3.50! After eating do remember to order a cup of coffee! Their's is rich and creamy and super nice la!
Hatha yoga
Mummy registered herself, sister and i about one and a half months back. The class is held every Friday evening. Other than keep fit and healthy, it's a really great way for mother-daughters bonding. Although it is a little tiring to rush to yoga class after work every Friday but all worth it. Can have a short coffee session with mummy dearest and salad for dinner! The only time when she dont nag when i do not eat proper food. HAHA!
Nano Block Collections
Anyone is a Nano Block collector too? I started with musical instruments then Sanrio characters, recently i have moved on to places of interests (mainly iconic buildings from all around the world). It's a great pleasure making and displaying all these tiny legos. Perhaps i will collect the Pokemon version too! Haha!
Anyway, show you some of the Nano Blocks that i have.
This is just a very short update. Coming up i have cafe reviews and a new recreation area which i went last weekend!
I will try to spare more time from work, school and family for blogging. Do check back okay?
Time for my honey drink and reading. Talk to you soon!

Birthday Bali Trip 2014
HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR TO ALL OF YOU!!!
Wishing you and family a happy and prosperous lunar new year!
Today is 初七 (seventh day of lunar new year) also known as 人日 (human's birthday) in Chinese beliefs. So is your family gonna eat long Chinese noodles or lou hei today?
Heh i did not mean to neglect my blog for so long. January's been busy for me. Some of you might know that i started my very own handy craft online blogshop selling handmade keychains and stuffs. Then it's my birthday trip followed by Chinese new year.
Just found the time to sit in front of my laptop and upload my Bali Trip pictures.
This was a last minute trip. We booked the hotel and flight three (3) days before departure. Do not have time to plan for the list of activities or to-visit-place for this trip so it was a very free and easy trip.
BIG THANK YOU TO DAVIN FOR THIS BIRTHDAY TRIP & also Thank you to the hotel staffs for surprising me with a cake (:
Pardon my face okay. Did not have time for makeup. Anyway it's a beach holiday who wears makeup to suntan? :D
Departure from Changi Airport T2
As it was a weekday morning, peak hour, no cab, WE TOOK SBS BUS TO THE AIRPORT! There were no seats on the bus so we stood the entire 1 hour journey!
Singaporeans like to queue yea, even the planes also queue up to take off! LOL! We were roughly an hour late when we reached Bali.
Day 1: Lunch at Pizza Hut / Kuta Beach / Beach Walk / Coffee @ BeachWalk / Shopping / Room service dinner.
Food at Pizza Hut was good, decided to skip Starbucks and visited their local cafe instead. Coffee was good and the place was very windy, cosy and relaxing. Kuta beach area have very strong wind therefore my hair was very messy the entire 3 days! Haha!
We did some shopping at the local stalls and i bought an owl printed cropped tank top. ended the day with dinner in our hotel room (:
Our Ninja Turtle and SpongeBob ice cream from the nearby mini mart.
Day 2: The walk to Kuta Beach (exploring) / Starbucks / Kuta Beach / Birthday Celebration / Dinner at Fish & Co
After memorizing the route, we walked about 3km to Kuta Beach. Along the way we picked up little gifts for our family members as well as explored the places (residential / schools / road side stalls). As we had breakfast in the hotel, we settled at a 2 storey Starbucks for coffee and cakes.
The tiramisu was GREAT! I wonder do we have it in Sg's Starbucks?
After that we walked to Kuta Beach and Beach walk shopping mall. Before the sun sets, we headed back to hotel for full body massage and got changed for my birthday dinner at Fish & Co. It's as good as Singapore's!
Day 3: Starbucks @ Beach Walk with no photos! Haha!
We woke up at 7am for hotel breakfast and checked out of the hotel at 10am, with our backpacks, we headed to Beach Walk for a final stroll and coffee at Starbucks before our transport send us to the airport at 1230pm. We were both very sleepy.
Ending this Bali post with our "sad" faces. My unforgettable Birthday celebration (:
